Tuesdays used to mean out doors off skates training of doom in Slottskogen and ending with a nice rule and strategy seminar. In anticipation of colder weather those activities are now retired in favor of Tuesdays instead being anything-derby-related-night, for example: lessons in how to care for your gear (how do you really clean those bearings?), rules and strategy, pimping the gear, watching derby movies/ bouts or whatever takes our fancy. Last tuesday we decided to have a gear pimping night. Things were sown, glittered, painted and crocheted until the last cookie was finished and it was dark outside.
